Federal Government, yesterday, gave reason for the cancellation of the
training of Nigerian soldiers by American security experts, attributing
it to logistic problem.
The U.S. Government, through its Embassy in Abuja on Monday said in a statement that “At the request of the Nigerian government, the United States will discontinue its training of a Nigerian Army battalion.”
But Nigerian government explained that it did not cancel the training, but that the condition placed down by US government was not healthy for the security of lives and property of its citizens, particularly those in the north east region.

According to reports, an American mother of twins was stabbed to death Monday after getting into an argument with another woman in an Abu Dhabi shopping mall bathroom.

The suspected bomber, a fairly old woman, who was said to have been confronted first by the hospital’s security guards, was arrested after it was discovered that she hid an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a food flask she was carrying.
According to the hospital authorities, the suspected terrorist disguised as a relation of a female patient who had come to present food at the maternity ward. BREAKING: Police Defuse Bomb Near Jos Primary School
The Stream reports that the fuse on the bomb had been lit, but was put out before it could explode.
Police investigations revealed that the device was intended to blow up a cash machine outside the school.
The bomb has been described as “containing about one kilogramme of explosives and was about 22 cm long and cylindrical in shape.”
