*Daniel flags off training for rice farmers, says Tinubu 'll revamp agriculture*




A former Governor of Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun East in the National Assembly, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has reassured Nigerians of the determination of President Bola Tinubu's administration to revamp the agricultural sector and promote viable initiatives to enhance food sufficiency in the country. 




Daniel, who spoke at the flag-off of a training programme for rice farmers held on Monday at the POLA Facility, Asoludero Court, Sagamu, said the Tinubu government was committed to making Nigeria one of the leading rice-producing countries in the world.

 The Lagos State Council of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has revealed that the individual arrested for injecting the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, is not a registered nurse.

The body disclosed this in a press statement made available on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the association late Friday.

In the statement signed by the Lagos NANNM Secretary, Toba Odumosu, the association said there is a need for professionalism in reporting and conducting investigations about the circumstances that led to the death of the rapper.

Meet Subomi Balogun’s 4 children

He is happily married to Kemi, a veteran journalist. Bolaji has over 22 years experience in investment banking and has spent 15 years in the First City Group. He is a licensed securities dealer and bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Economic at the University of London in 1989.

Jide is the second child of Otunba. He is an investor and is happily married to Uche, the daugher of Ide, an Asaba Billionaire. Jide managed PRIMROSE development, the family real estate business before he became managing partner of Balogun & Balogun firm. He’s a member of Nigerian bar and bagged an MBA from Durham University.

His third son, Ladi is happily married to Banke. He was the Managing Director and now the General Manager of FCMB GROUP. He met his wife in UK and she works in Shell. Ladi obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia and also bagged an MBA from Harvard Business School.

The last child of the family, Gboyega is married to a very intelligent woman, Emma. He is the managing Director of CSL Stockbrokers, a subsidiary of FCMB Group.

His wife was a Human Capital Manager and worked as corporate planner for Brass LNG. She graduated from Royal Holloway University of Lomdon and her husband bagged a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Managment from the University of London.
