Buhari’s Certificate
The
Federal Government has engaged the services of a forensic expert to
unravel what has been termed the mysteries around the school certificate
presented to the public by the presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress, Major General Muhammadu Buhari.

Online gathered that the Peoples Democratic Party-led Federal Government
was shocked that Buhari could produce the certificate after it had been
concluded that he had none and was going to be unable to present any.
Owing to the development, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission
and former Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro, was mandated to
conduct a forensic investigation into the certificate presented by
Buhari.
Sources told The Eagle Online that the office of the Special
Adviser on Public Communications to President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr.
Doyin Okupe, was mandated to coordinate the forensic investigation
activities.
Okiro was said to have contacted and contracted a foreign forensic investigator for the purpose.
It could, however, not be established if the foreign forensic investigator had arrived in the country as at press time.
The issue of the certificate of Buhari has remained at the top of
discussions in the last two weeks as it dominated on all platforms and
events.
No one was willing to comment officially on the matter as at press time.
But a source in the Presidency confirmed the development.
The source said it was shocking that Buhari could produce his certificate.
A statement on Thursday by the Director of Media and Publicity of the
PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, said the
authenticity of the certificate is in doubt.
Fani-Kayode also demanded a probe of the certificate by the police and other security agencies.
