My own Opinion.. In Politics, you must know how to penetrate, lobby and ensure your bills, budget, proposals etc are been passed or accepted. senator Ireti is from LP.. Gov. Wike (PDP) appointed by the President Tinubu (APC) based on strong recommendation.

No doubt, Minister Wike is strong politically, very effective and action wise. He fit the FCT job because that location is not for weakling. Then, People must come first.. either infrastructures wise or palliatives program.

What is the function of the Ministry of FCT?
The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is a Nigerian ministry that administers the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. It is headed by a Minister, who is appointed by the President, and assisted by a Permanent Secretary, who is a career civil servant

For the Senator Ireti Kingibe
Federal Capital Territory senatorial district in Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria covers 6 local governments which include: Abuja, Abaji, Kwali, Bwari, Gwagwalada and Kuje. FCT senate district has within its territory Nigera’s seat of power (Aso Rock Presidential Villa, the National Assembly and Judicial headquarters). Ireti Kingibe is the current representative of FCT senatorial district.

Therefore, in my opinion... Politically they are not in the same party.. so politics aside.
For the sake of People in FCT... Is infrastructure okay for FCT ? if Yes, the Minister must consider the people... while the Senator need a political approach in ensuring smooth relationship with FCT Minister..
