It was reported that a female suicide bomber detonated a bomb, killing several in Azare, Bauchi.
So far, about 25 people have been reportedly killed in the blast that
occurred at the phone village in Azare, Bauchi state, with no fewer than
64 persons injured.
Bauchi police have confirmed the attack. Lawal Shehu, Bauchi State
Commissioner of Police, has said rescue operations are in progress.
Although he could not give casualty figures, Leadership newspaper says
no fewer that 25 people were killed, with about 64 injured.
It will be recalled that Azare, which is home to a Federal Government
College, is the victim of a second bomb attack in the space of three
weeks.
