Nigeria's Vincent Enyeama named best goalkeeper in France
Super Eagles and Nigeria skipper Vincent Enyeama has been named as the best goalkeeper in the French League for 2014.
French newspaper, L’Equipe has for the second successive year picked the Nigerian international as the best, following his exploits for his club, LOSC Lille.
He emerged tops over PSG's goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, whom last season was chosen as the best goalkeeper for the 2013/2014 football season in France by the French Football authorities.
Enyeama finished last campaign with 21 clean sheets, although the first of half of the 2014/2015 season has not been joyous for the 32-year old.
The former Enyimba and Heartland goalkeeper is in contention for the 2014 African player of the year Award which will be announced next week in Lagos.
