The former Liverpool hitman has sent the packages to the Pereira Rossell hospital in Montevideo.
The sacks included Christmas food and drinks, and the Uruguay forward donated the carts as part of his ambassadorial role at Uruguayan foundation 'Scremini Pérez', a children's cancer charity.
Suarez included on each bag the message: "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2015 with your loved ones. Luis Suarez and family."
Suarez has endured a career of controversy since making his name with Ajax, including three separate biting incidents and a racism storm with then Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
His reputation on the field has suffered because of it, particularly in England, and his failure to clean up his act sped up his exit from the Premier League.
However, he is still seen as a legend in his native Uruguay, and has show his big-hearted side by sending the Christmas gifts for children who will be spending the big day in hospital.
Suarez has had a slow start to his career with Barca, netting just once in his first eight La Liga appearances.
