• Aubrey Chernick: an example of rising from the ashes. Born to a grocer, Aubrey realised his undying love for computer programming while he was working in civil service in Canada. He went on to start his own company in the year 1976. Candle Corp., today is believed to be one of the ‘best kept secrets’ in software. He has also written program codes for trouble shooting networks for multinational companies like IBM.
• Sanjiv Sidhu: he was born in Hyderabad and was son of a research chemist. After completing his college from his hometown, Sidhu went to the Oklahoma State for acquiring his Master Degree in chemical engineering. He started i2 Technologies in the year 1988. Created software having recognised the power of human intelligence. His i2 today is known to be a software maker that traces the effective production schedules. His clients include esteemed names like Dell, Motorola, Caterpillar, 3M, Texas Instruments and many more renowned names.
• John Little: John believes that his company is not a mere internet start up. His company Portal Software according to him introduced the first public Internet connection in the year 1985. The market started taking interest after a decade and over the years he has built partnerships with Microsoft, Sun , Cisco and many more established brands.
