In fact, Mama does more than that. In what has become more of a ritual, she dutifully waits upon her children, (Monday-Friday) at lunch time. As long as the children are in Lagos, they converge at her home to eat from Mama’s pot.

Alleged cover for gangs: You’re hypocrite , Fayose tells Falana

ADO EKITI—Ekiti State  Governor, Mr Ayo Fayose has faulted Mr Femi Falana’s claim that he (Fayose) was providing cover for armed gangs to operate in the state, saying such a comment is ridiculous and nonsensical.
Speaking in Ado-Ekiti yesterday through his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, the governor wondered why the Lagos-based lawyer would always stand truth on the head.
The governor, who was reacting to a comment by Falana in a national daily that the governor was the one sponsoring armed hoodlums to operate in the state described Falana as a hypocritical political merchant, who always kept silent whenever APC controlled States are involved.
He asked; “Is this not hypocrisy? And Falana did not find it important to ask those All Progressives Congress (APC)-controlled states what they have done with their workers’ salaries if truly he is a human rights activist as he claims to be.

Kanye West Booed at Billboard Music Awards?

For nearly three hours, the Billboard Music Awards delivered, back-to-back great performances – Van Halen, Little Big Town, Hozier, John Legend and Meghan Trainor, etc. To call Kanye West’s closing set anticlimactic would be an understatement.

Boos from the audience even before the controversial rapper took the stage indicated doom. When it was announced that West would be performing after the commercial break, the attendees in the venue booed loudly, reports a Yahoo Music editor on site. Even West’s sisters-in-law, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, received negative reaction from the crowd when they introduced him. So sad! Rapper Chinx, 31, was murdered in Jamaica, Queens early this morning, approximately 4am.
The rapper, known to roll with French Montana, was reportedly driving when he was shot several times. Another man was critically wounded in the gunfight that took place on Queens boulevard as Chinx drove his Porche.

President-Elect Buhari to drop the name General

 
Nigeria’s President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, says he will drop the title “General” from his name immediately after being sworn-in on May 29, 2015.
General Buhari, through his Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, unveiled in a one paragraph statement on Sunday, that he would like to be known after the swearing as, Muhammadu Buhari, President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
The statement also noted that the Vice President-elect would also be officially referred to as Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Minister of Information, Patricia Akwashiki, had earlier stated that May 29 remains the date for the handover of governance from President Goodluck Jonathan to the President-elect, General Muhammudu Buhari.
Mrs Akwashiki made the clarification at the end of a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, presided over by President Jonathan.
