Secondly if I make a prediction it is my right to do so. A prediction is essentially what it is... A forecast or projected statement about the future. It does not have to come to pass.
The Almighty CIA predicted Nigeria will break up after 2015 elections. It took the Godliness and intrinsic humaneness of one man to stop that prediction.
Whatever it is you guys have won an election
that was keenly contested yet you are not satisfied. 12m Nigerians voted for Jonathan while 15m for Buhari. This is nothing to be ashamed of.
We are politicians and in our business we are at liberty to use whatever lawful means we have to try and discourage or put our opponents down. This is why when the game is over we down tools and joke with each others again.
Only inexperienced rascals and ill bred effusively emotive or misguided individuals will carry on as if a war has just been won or lost. It was not a war it was a game. Please cool your temper. Life goes on.

Royal Rumble as Ekiti State Assembly commences plot to impeach Ayo Fayose

Politics in fountain of knowledge is taking another dimension as Legislators at Ekiti Assembly have served Governor Ayo Fayose an impeachment notice and have given him seven days to respond.

At least 18 members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly have agreed to commence investigations into allegations of grave misconduct against the governor. One of the legislators in Ekiti told Sahara Reporters, “We are going to look at the allegations against Governor Fayose in a responsible manner and make our decision in line with the rule of law and the overall interest of the people of the state.”

If indeed Fayose gets successfully impeached, it would mark his second impeachment in office.

Kano Resident Electoral Commissioner, family die in midnight fire

Tragedy struck in Kano last night as a mysterious fire claimed the life of Kano Resident Electoral Commissioner, Munkaila Abdullahi, his wife and two children.

The incident occurred at his Nassarawa GRA resident midnight was said to have razed the entire building.

An eyewitness, Idi Ali told Vanguard that efforts by good Samaritans to broke into the building to rescued him and his family failed as they could not gain entrance into the building.

The police Image Maker in Kano, ASP Magaji Musa Majia confirmed the incident, adding that “we are coming out with a statement on it very soon”.

Eli Thompson came into this world in the late afternoon of March 4, perfectly healthy, but with one distinction -- he didn't have a nose.

"The day I delivered, everything went fine," mom Brandi McGlathery told ABC News today. "At 4:42 when he was born, he came out and the doctor put him on my chest. When I took a closer look at him, I said, 'He doesn't have a nose,' and they took him out of the room."

Latest On Kenya University attack - 147 students killed (Graphic Photos)

Members of Somali Islamic sect, Al-Shabab, stormed Kenyan's Garissa University College very early this morning and massacred students and staff of the school.According to new reports, 147 people lost their lives in the horrific incident which is so far the deadliest terrorist attack in Kenya. Another 79 people were seriously injured.

According to Kenyan security forces, of the 815 students in the college, 500 were rescued, 147 were killed and the rest - 166 - have not been properly accounted for. Some are believed to have been taken hostage. Kenya government claim they killed four of the terrorists. -- 6:22 a.m. ET: At least 15 people have been killed by gunmen who attacked a Kenyan university Thursday, officials said, according to CNN affiliate Citizen TV. The officials said 550 people are still unaccounted for at the campus that had about 815 students.

-- 6:22 a.m. ET: The officials said one terrorist has been arrested as he tried to slip through the security cordon and flee the scene.

-- 5:35 a.m. ET: At least 65 people are hospitalized from the attack, the Kenyan Red Cross said.

A swarm of gunmen stormed a Kenya university before dawn Thursday, firing indiscriminately and taking hostages.

At least 15 people have been killed, security and interior ministry officials said, according to CNN affiliate Citizen TV. The officials said 550 people are unaccounted for at the campus that had about 815 students.

At least 65 people were hospitalized from the attack at Garissa University College, the Kenyan Red Cross said.

The Somali-based Al-Shabaab militant group claimed responsibility. The security and ministry officials said one terrorist was arrested as he tried to slip through the security cordon and flee the scene.

By 1 p.m. local time (6 a.m. ET), eight hours after the attack began, the fight to regain control of the university continued. Kenyan forces cleared three of four dormitories and had cornered the militants in the last one, the interior ministry said.

Garissa is about 145 kilometers (90 miles) from the border with Somalia. Al-Shabaab militants have often launched attacks inside Kenya ever since the Kenyan government sent troops across the border to fight the group .

Oil prices are determined by commodities traders who bid on oil futures contracts in the commodities market. These contracts are agreements to buy or sell oil at a specific date in the future for an agreed-upon price. They are executed on the floor of a commodity exchange by traders who are registered with the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. Commodities have been traded for more than 100 years,

and have been regulated by the CFTC since the 1920s.

Commodities traders fall into two categories. Most are representatives of companies who actually use oil. They buy oil for delivery at a future date at the fixed price. That way, they know the price of the oil, can plan for it financially, and therefore reduce (or hedge) the risk to their corporations. Traders in the second category are actual speculators. Their only motive is to make money from changes in the price of oil.

Fellow Nigerians, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria called me, on phone, some few minutes ago to congratulate me on the presidential election victory that was fought for by you and won through your commitment.
I am deeply humbled by this show of magnanimity, and I am particularly grateful to Allah for enabling me to see the dawn of a new day in our national life.
Yes, we have been through a gruelling period of campaigning. All parties have traversed the length and breadth of our dear nation. We have all worked hard to win. We have expended human and material resources in pursuit of our vision. At the end of the day, the will of majority of the people has prevailed!

The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Maj-Gen. Chris Olukolade disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying that the discovery was made in their ongoing mopping up operations.

Presidential election results so far - APC now leading

In continuation of the presidential election results for 18 states plus the FCT has so far been announced. The APC has 10 states, while PDP has 8 states plus the FCT, Abuja. It's a very very tight race.

So far APC is ahead with 8,520,436 votes while PDP has 6,488,210 votes.

The election result announcement has ended for today. The commission has reconvened till 10am tomorrow. God bless you all.
