The footballer’s cousin has gone on air to accuse Adebayor of neglecting them, including his own biological mother.

“For the past six years Adebayor has rejected his mother and his immediate family whilst doing charity outside on the premise that our mother is a witch,” Adebayor’s cousin Margaret told Peace FM in Ghana.

24-yr old man commits suicide in church

 

A 24-year-old man, Lanre Falodu, who was taken for deliverance at a Pentecostal Church, has committed suicide in the church premises.
According to a police source, the deceased brother, Tunde, had taken him to the church located at Imola area of Owo to seek spiritual solution to his problem.

Ex-militant Ekpemupolo, (alias Tompolo) has denied any involvement in the $16 billion Export Processing Zone (EPZ) project crisis rocking Delta State. In a bid to clear himself of any wrong doing, Tompolo released a statement today where he accused the current Delta state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan and his predecessor, Jame Ibori of trying to use the project to collect the land belonging to his people, the Ijaws of Gbaramatu kingdom.

Speaker of the House of Reps Aminu Tambuwal has finally gained access into the House Chamber. There was chaos outside the Assembly complex this morning as police tried to prevent him and other lawmakers from entering the complex. Some had to scale the gates after all entry points were sealed off leaving only one open where many were thoroughly frisked and some turned back. There are allegations that most of the lawmakers turned back were from the APC. The police at some point even fired teargas and some lawmakers reportedly fainted.

David Mark shuts down National Assembly till November 25th

In view of development in National Assembly, Senate President, David Mark has ordered the shut down of the institution till Tuesday next week, November 25th, following this morning's chaos in which the Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal, and other lawmakers were allegedly teargassed and prevented from entering the Assembly complex. Mark announced this moments ago at the Senate plenary session.
The IG of police has also been ordered to appear before the House to explain what happened today. Meanwhile the House of Reps have adjourned till December 3rd.

A baby boy born with four arms and four legs is causing panic in the streets of Baruipur, east India, as locals believe he is the reincarnation of a god.

The child has been named God Boy, as multiple limbs are common among Hindu deities, and people are travelling from across the region to the city in West Bengal State to get a glimpse of the child.

Local police complain they are struggling to control the crowds, as hundreds clamour to get access to the hospital. The family are overjoyed at their new addition and see him as the son Hindu God Brahma, who is depicted with eight limbs.

  ‘When he first came out we couldn’t believe it, the nurses said he was badly deformed but I could see that this was a sign from God. In fact, this is a miracle, its God’s baby. Indian God’s have extra limbs just like this,’ a relative said.
