Why Kenyan Ladies End up Single For Life 2
8. Your Friends Run Your Life- how do you expect to find a husband when you still allow your clique of friends to be dictating which man you meet is worthy of your love and which is not? When will you wake up and face the fact that those your best friends even though they cherish you, wouldn’t want you to marry before them or to marry the best man?
9. You Move Around In Group- often times, you miss the advance of a good decent man when you move in group, be wise. Again, men don’t always fancy ladies that move around in group because most ladies can only be reasonable when you separate them from their group of friends.
10. You Give Everything Out During Dating- As a single lady who has not been taken to the altar, you need to reserve some things for your husband to be, especially your body, respect it and preserve it at all cost. In the past, men rushed to marry to get certain things or privileges they had been constantly denied while being single. Such privileges include and not limited to: constant sex and companionship, good food and tidied home, etc. But today, a single man gets even the best and of course more of constant sex, good food and excellent home-keeping more than his married counterparts, so tell me how the hell you want him to desire to marry you when you have given him virtually everything he desires from a wife while being his girlfriend? And the most painful part of it all is that he knows that you are prepared to cut down on sex supply, cooking, home-keeping, etc once he marries you, so why would he not want you to remain his girlfriend for life
Towards 2015! Chief Richard Akinjide (SAN) Speaks
#If Buhari stands for any election 10 times, he will lose# WHY?
He hasn’t got the electoral advantage to win an election. He has done a
lot of things in the past, which shows that he hasn’t got democratic
norms. For instance, the government of Lagos State was to do the railway
system and we know what he did about it. Nigeria has one of the worst
railway systems in Africa today. Lagos State was going to do water
system; he (Buhari) cancelled it. He even cancelled the railway system
(metroline) in Lagos State. The railway system was approved by Shehu
Shagari and the agreement was vetted by me as the Attorney-General and
Lagos State deposited $50 million to a French company, which they
forfeited and then they were asked to pay damages again in arbitration.
Buhari was told that and he didn’t care. His belief was that South would
be better developed than the North. Anybody who thinks like that is not
worthy of being President of this country. That is one of the reasons
he has no political advantage for any political party. We all know what
he did about human rights abuses. He imprisoned many political leaders.
FG Accuses Buhari,Obasanjo of Planning Interim Govt

He said, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have started to heat up the polity. They have said they will form a parallel government if they lose.

Yakasai defends Jonathan on non-visit to Chibok
ELDER statesman and Chairman of the Northern Elders Council (NEC), Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, has defended President Goodluck Jonathan over his failure to visit Chibok in Borno State following the kidnap of about 275 female students by Boko Haram early in the year.
About 219 of the girls are still in the custody of the insurgents nine months later.
According to Yakasai, it was too risky for the president to visit Chibok at the height of the abduction of the students, stressing that, “soldiers were the right people to be sent to the town at time and not President Jonathan.”
Appearing on a popular Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Hausa programme, ‘Hannu da Yawa’ monitored in Kaduna, Alhaji Yakasai said: “Why I think the president’s decision not to visit the area is not bad is because we were all aware of the deteriorating level of insecurity in that part of the country.
“We all know it was too risky for the president to visit Chibok at that time.
“The president is not a soldier. Soldiers are the people that should have been sent there.

Inciting Comments: DSS Issues Last Warning To Politicians
The deputy director of public relations, Marilyn Ogar, in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, noted particularly the statement of a serving governor calling on men of the armed forces to rise up in protest against constituted authority, with the intent to undermine the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ogar, who pointed out that similar unguarded provocative statements by politicians in the past had encouraged violence that resulted in loss of innocent lives and properties, affirmed that nobody is above the laws of the land.
Insecurity: Nigeria, US Face-off In Whose Interest?
LEADERSHIP’s United States Bureau Chief, ABIODUN OLUWAROTIMI,
writes on the possible political and diplomatic implications that the
recent federal government’s termination of the US military training of
the Nigerian Army could have on both nations
The federal government had three weeks ago terminated a contract it gave to military trainers from the United States. These trainings were to ensure that a battalion of the Nigerian Army was trained on how to combat insurgency in Nigeria. Well, the US has also stopped buying Nigeria’s oil. Accusations and counter accusations have been widely reported from both governments in its aftermath. Monitors predict that this could lead to a diplomatic rows between both nations, predictions both countries have dispelled.
LEADERSHIP investigation shows that both Nigeria and the United States may be treading a path that could lead to a serious diplomatic row between both nations if concrete steps to douse the tension coming from the termination of the contract are not taken. The US government have accused Nigerian security agencies of human rights violations in their operations, especially in the fight to contain the insurgency.

2015: Buhari fails to submit academic qualifications to INEC
General Muhammadu Buhari
Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, did not present his academic qualifications to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, even as he prepares for the 2015 presidential contest.
Unlike his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, counterpart, President Goodluck Jonathan, whose academic certificates were conspicously displayed by the commission upon presentation, Buhari’s credentials were visibly without trace at the commission’s office at Area 10, Abuja.
The former Head of State, explained in an affidavit he deposed, which he submitted to the commission that all his academic credentials were with the Secretary, Military Board.
The affidavit deposed at the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, Abuja and dated November 24,2014, was stamped and received at INEC headquarters on December 18, 2014.
In the affidavit, Buhari said: “All my academic qualifications (documents) as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, are currently with the Secretary Military Boards as at the time of this affidavit.”
He added: “The affidavit is made in good faith and for record purpose.”

Reflection Year - from one to the next
"One year is ending and another is about to begin… But before thinking about the coming year, turn your attention for a moment to the one that is departing, and speak to it, for a year is a living being, and so you can talk to it. When you leave it, ask it to remember you. As it is alive, it does not remain idle: it has recorded not only your actions, but also your wishes, feelings and thoughts. On the last day it reports to the lords of destiny, and it connects you to the new year: you must be able to say goodbye to it before it goes for good.

Says he didn’t fund Buhari’s campaign
By Dapo Akinrefon
IS it true you funded the Buhari campaign for the primaries?
I did not. Buhari did not spend money for the primaries. Anybody who said they spent money should come forward with evidence. We have maintained consistently that Nigerians would fund us and that is why we have launched our campaign we are hoping that people will contribute. It is there on our website; you will just look at the account and go and pay.
And we are making sure that we convince General Buhari to be the sole signatory to that account. That is the way we would raise our money. We would not depend on rich men. You can’t fight the president on funds. See how much he raised from people who some of them collected the N2.3trillion on oil subsidy and are yet to pay back. If he is not prosecuting them for oil subsidy, why shouldn’t they pay for his election?
Cameroonian Soldiers Chase Nigerians Out Of Bakassi
The Cameroonian military has begun cracking down on Nigerians in the Bakassi peninsula suspected of evading taxes.
Cameroon gained total control of the peninsula in August 2013, but most inhabitants in the oil-rich area are Nigerians
“We don’t understand Cameroon’s tax laws,” a provisions store owner, Stanley Obi, told the Hausa service of the Voice of America (VOA), adding that he has seen an array of people seeking payments.
“At times, you see the council come to collect theirs. After, the tax officers will come, police will come; we are just confused with the whole system,” Obi said.
Obi also said a curfew was imposed on the peninsula last week following disputes between businessmen and groups of tax collectors.
Fresh fish retailer, Na Eric, said that ever since Cameroon gained sovereignty over the peninsula, Nigerians in Bakassi have frequently been harassed by Cameroonian soldiers.
“It is a means of killing our businesses,” he said.

$30billion Not Missing From Excess Crude Account! Okonjo-Iweala tells Oshiomhole
The Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala says 30 billion dollars
is not missing from the Excess Crude Account as speculated by Gov. Adams
Oshiomhole of Edo.
READ : $30billion Missing From Excess Crude Account - Oshiomole
This is according to a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by Mr Paul Nwabuikwu, the spokesperson to the minister.
''The widely published comment by Gov. Adams Oshiomhole alleging that 30 billion dollars is missing from the Excess Crude Account is shocking and totally untrue. The comments reflect, once again, the unfortunate tendency of some political players to politicise the management of the economy on the basis of half-truths and sundry distortions.
''This is not good for the country,’’ the statement read in part.
It stated that Oshiomhole’s comments gave the impression that the Federal Government doles out whatever it wished to the states from the Federation Account.
''But anyone who is familiar with the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) process knows that this is simply not true. The meetings are held every month and Commissioners of Finance and other officials represent their states and agreements are reached on issues including the distribution of proceeds from the Account.
''There is no 30 billion dollars missing from the Excess Crude Account as alleged by Governor Oshiomhole,’’ it added.
