The Enyimba striker netted his 21st strike of the season in the 1-1 draw against Dolphins in Port Harcourt.
A 66th minute header from Udoh powered him past the Nigerian record that has stood in the past three years.
Udoh eclipsed Jude Aneke's 20 goals heroics which was attained in November 2011.
The game between Dolphins and Enyimba was billed as the one where in the highest goalscoring record of the Nigerian league was going to be broken, considering that the top marksmen: Emem Eduok and Udoh went head to head against each other.
And it was proven rightly so, as Udoh made the difference, going into the history books, as the first player to score 21 goals in a football season in Nigeria.
