Arsenal 3-0 Victory Over Zagreb Another Hopeful Of Second Round

Arsenal have revived their chances of progressing to the knockout stage of UEFA Champions League following their convincing 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night.
Arsène Wenger’s men had to exercise patience against their deep-lying opponents earlier in the game but a superb goal from Mesut Ozil broke the deadlock for the Gunners.
The outstanding Alexis Sanchez doubled the lead soon after, sweeping home Nacho Monreal’s low cross, before making the game safe after half-time with a composed finish.
This was a fine Arsenal performance, and these three points could still prove vital after Bayern Munich comfortably beat Olympiacos at Allianz Arena. As things stand, Wenger’s men will need to win in Piraeus by two clear goals or a score of 3-2 or higher if they are to reach the last 16.
On the evidence of this performance, they seem to have every chance of doing just that.
Meanwhile in Isreal, Chelsea were able to put four behind Nosa Igiebor's Maccabi Tel Aviv's net to increacse their chances of going through.
Chelsea have now won two games in a row, after their 1-0 win over Norwich in the EPL last Saturday.
Bayern beat Olympiacos 4-0 while Barcelona thumbed Serie A's Roma 6-0 and have made it through to the knock out stage of the championship.
 Other results are as follow:
 Zenit 2-0 Valencia
 BATE 1-1 Leverkusen
 Maccabi Tel-Aviv 0-4 Chelsea
 Lyon 1-2 Gent
 Bayern Munich 4-0 Olympiacos
 Porto 0-2 Dynamo Kyiv
 Barcelona 6-1 Roma
 Arsenal 3-0 Dinamo Zagreb
