Daniel Sturridge put the Reds ahead with a fantastic curling effort in the first half before Kevin Gameiro equalized 17 seconds into the second half with a simple tap-in.
Once they leveled Sevilla dominated and minutes later went ahead through Coke's brilliant first-time hit. Coke then beat the offside trap for his second which killed off Liverpool.
Sevilla are the first team to win a major European title three years in a row since Bayern Munich won the European Cup three times between 1974 and 1976.
