Hilarious! Coffin brought to PDP National secretariat in Abuja today: Photo

2015 election is by the corner and our politics and politicians are hilarious. So a coffin was brought to the PDP national secretariat in Abuja yesterday that sent PDP chairman and other party members running for their lives. Smiles!!!

Angry PDP members from Rivers state today staged a weird protest against the leadership of the PDP over the choice of former Education Minister Nyesom Wike as the party's Governorship candidate for River state in the 2015 elections. The protesters who stormed the party secretariat around 6am with the coffin, barricaded the entrance of the secretariat, stopping everyone who worked at the building from gaining entrance. The group was later dispersed by mobile police with five protesters arrested. I hope they will address the issue as so as possible.

EPL Results: Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal record wins in midweek games

Chelsea consolidated on their position at the top of the English Premier League table with a 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Blues were efficient on the task they needed to do, punishing the visiting Spurs who were not completely ran over as the result might tend to suggest.
Maybe it would have been a different story had Spurs converted the early chances they got in the match.
Harry Kane came close on two occasions, seeing his header brush of the crossbar and his effort sweep across Thibaut Courtois.
However, Chelsea went into the ascendancy after a brilliant 1-2 resulted in Didier Drogba laying up the ball to Eden Hazard who beat Hugo Lloris to open the scores.

''Thursday, November 20th, 2014 marked a new high in the disdain for law and order in our society. The events on this day at the National Assembly were extremely sad.

Grace Efezokhae: The Virginity Issue

There is a virginity tradition in Yoruba land called Asa Ibile (It is no longer practiced as before). It is a virginity test where the bride goes in with the groom on their wedding night with a white piece of cloth.

Later on that night after intimacy, if the bride is a virgin, she gets gifts of high value from both families and a symbolic message of white cloth with blood stains sent to her family, which is received with joy. But, on the other hand, if the bride fails, a euphemistic message of half boiled/roasted yam is sent to the bride’s family and she will be deemed to have brought shame to her family. And for life the bride will live with the shame that comes with the first night incident in her matrimonial home. No one ever questions the virginity of the man. I beg to digress.

And while you, dear guest, may think that you’re helping them by taking photos they can use online or in a scrapbook, you may actually be ruining the images they are paying thousands of dollars for.
Over the last year photographers, wedding planners, and even the couples themselves, are planning unplugged weddings in which guests are asked to refrain from recording devices, especially during the actual ceremony. In a recent USA Today article, Ohio-based photographer Corey Ann Balazowich even admitted to presenting the idea to her clients (So far it has been well received.)
