Chelsea consolidated on top spot in the English Premier League after securing a 2-1 victory over visiting Queens Park Rangers.
It was not all smooth sailing and pretty for Jose Mourinho's team as
they had to dig deep to secure all three points against QPR.
Oscar scored a delightful opener in the first half with his inside foot,
putting Chelsea 1-0 up and it looked as though it was going to be one-
way for the Blues.
However, QPR got back in the game after Charlie Austin flicked in Leroy
Fer's volley against the run of play to equalise for the visitors.
A moment of complacency from Eduardo Vargas saw him give away a cheeky
penalty, and Eden Hazard coolly converted the penalty that he won to
salvage all three points for Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Arsenal had to endure for a long time before they could score a goal against Burnley.
Alexis Sanchez stood out for the Gunners, scoring the first and last
goal in their 3-0 win at the Emirates, while Calum Chambers got his
side's second goal in the match.
Earlier on in the day, Liverpool's woes continued after succumbing to their fourth defeat of the season.
A second half goal from Perez Ayoze made the difference for Newcastle in their 1-0 victory over the Reds.
