OPEN LETTER TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT: ADEFEMI ADESIDA

It is interesting to say that politics is all about human development and progress and  when an elected individual fails to deliver on the promises made to the people, being a leader it would be difficult for people to believe such leader in the future. In view of this, I will pick my words carefully to avoid being tagged as an attention seeker. Now, straight to the point. The focus would be on the Presidency in person of our dear

leader President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the governor of Rivers state in person of Chibuke Rotimi Amaechi. Recently, during the mega rally for APC in Port Harcourt, the gaffe-prone governor accused Mr President of not living up to his expectation infact he lampooned the foibles  Mr President and said he is not his brother. He gave the  reason that they both hailed from the South South part of the country but nothing can be shown as tangible projects done by Federal Government. In a counter response from Presidency, signed by the spokesperson Dr. Reuben Abati. He said that Amaechi should stop his political rascality and his day of reckoning shall soon come. He  further stressed that the governor lied as all entitlement of states in term of their allocations has since been paid up to date. Furthermore, I as a citizen feel more disturbed about this level of distrust from the two sides. I therefore demand for an urgent clarification from the two parties to prove to the whole world who is deceiving Nigerians. I believe in integrity of the two offices and could not imagine that an elected Governor will continue to drag the office of the President in the mud just to attract cheap popularity among his opposition comrades and also engage in the act of denigrating the highest office with phantom lies. I hereby demand clarifications from the Federal government and Rivers state government on these various claims as soon as possible.  This is a crystal-clear brand of dirty politics expected ahead of general election in 2015.It is not good for the well-being of our nascent democracy.Thanks.
